  • Ockham's Razor - an aerial theatre company perform at the at the London International Mime Festival
  • Pat and David Steele - Basingstoke inventors of a panelled duvet which is easy to wash in a washing machine
  • Thomas Bayes - 18th-century English clergyman whose mathematical theory predicts the unpredictable
  • William Kimber - the morris dancer who worked with Cecil Sharp, a collaboration which led to the morris revival

  • Say your prayers - research by William Harris of Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City shows that prayer significantly improved the outcome for patients in a coronary care unit over 12 months
